• Co-ordinate the issue of Work Permits on daily basis and administering compliance with Permit conditions and requirements on site, ensuring at all times that personnel under his direction work in a safe competent manner.
• Ensures at all times that blasting and painting equipment is in good mechanical condition,arranging repair/maintenance as necessary.
• Requires good basic knowledge of high-tech coatings, their preparation and application together with test procedures. These products include glass flake lining, epoxy coatings, fireproofing.
• instrument and subliming materials, predate and other protective coatings.
• Responsible for Painting quantity joint measurement with contractor surveyor after the work completed. Ensure the contractor monthly invoices compile with the joint measurement data.
• Checks progress of work on jobs under his supervision to maintain Quality Control and ensure completion according to specification, and maintains good housekeeping.
• Has continuous daily contact with Maintenance Services Supervisor.
• Frequent contact with other Company Maintenance Supervisor and Quality control Painting Inspector for preparation and quality control and adherence to Safety Regulations Experience, Knowledge and skills.
