Conduct various post duties and security functions on military installation such as Entry Control Point, Vehicle Search Lanes, Watch Tower, Ammunition Supply Point, and Arms Room in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.

• Carry and operate weapons specific to post duties; Chemical Gear carried at all times.
• Write activity reports of post duties and responsibilities; conduct preventive maintenance checks and services for sensitive items.
• Control entry and exit of all personnel.
• Inspect all commercial vehicles for any potential explosive devices and prohibited items.
• Qualified bi-annually with M9 Pistol, M4 Rifle, and M240 Machine Gun.
• Operate sensitive items such as Binoculars, Handheld Radio, Night Vision Goggles, Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) Scanner, and Automatic Under Vehicle Inspection (AUVIS) System.

Patrol and protect lives and property of Army installation by enforcing military laws and regulations in garrison environment.

• Operate base entry points to provide 24/7 force protection, review identifications, search vehicles and verify deliveries prior to entrance to secure areas.
• Secure restricted areas and enforce limited access for civilians and military members to provide force protection and property security.
• Provide emergency response security, eliminating hazards and potential dangers.
• Manage logbooks and control building entrances and exits; writing daily activity and incident reports.
• Provide security presence by monitoring number of cameras, security lighting, and gate systems.
• Patrol perimeters of base to guard against any attacks or other life-threatening acts.

Assist the public, prevent crime, preserve peace, enforce laws, and respond to any emergency situations.

• Brief information before and after shift such as high-crime areas, persons of interest, or recent incidents.
• Inspect officers and vehicles to identify and correct any unprofessional appearances.
• Respond promptly to calls for protection of life and property; backed up patrol officers during difficult stops, help answer complex questions, or de-escalate tense situations.
• Participate quarterly in continuous firearms proficiency, defensive driving, and arrest technique training.
• Identified, pursued, and arrested suspects with active warrants or committing a crime.
• Record facts to complete concise, detailed reports and required paperwork to serving warrants and use-of-force deployments.
• Investigate crimes and accidents while initiating first aid; secure the scene to identify and preserve evidence.
• Collaborate with court prosecutors and testify in court a countless number of cases per year.
• Conduct police escort for funerals, parades, and high profile individuals such as Ex-Presidents, Mayors, and Celebrities.
• Maintain high level of professionalism, clean appearance, and physical fitness.

Manage inmates in holding areas, ensuring inmates remain in custody according to laws, policies, and procedures.

• Prepare activity reports and logs.
• Conduct routine and emergency head counts.
• Escort inmates to and from cells, court, hospitals and medical appointments.
• Observe and supervise inmates throughout visits, meal time, recreation and phone calls
• Process new inmates into facility, completing intake paperwork, fingerprinting, and searches.
• Notified victims of upcoming inmate release.
