Experienced cardiology specialist with extensive expertise in both outpatient and inpatient clinical settings. Proficient in critical care unit operations, including ventilation and invasive monitoring of critically ill patients. Skilled in advanced echocardiography techniques such as 2D/3D transthoracic, transesophageal, and dobutamine stress echocardiography. Demonstrates accepted knowledge in cardiac catheterization, patient assessment for diagnostic coronary angiography, and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Adept at performing elective PCI procedures, including balloon angioplasty and drug-eluting stent deployment, with a focus on post-dilatation optimization techniques. Actively participates in primary PCI for acute myocardial infarction (STEMI), ensuring rapid Cath lab activation and effective thrombus management strategies. Committed to radiation safety principles, contrast minimization strategies, and post-procedure care to enhance patient outcomes.
JAAFH is well known for providing almost all cardiac diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including Echocardiography unit which provides all advanced echocardiography modalities like 3D echo, strain, stress echo and TOE. Cardiac CT and MRI are also available. Cath lab is equipped with 1room where coronary interventions are done including 24/7 primary PCI. CCU, cardiac intensive care unit CICU are equipped with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and support devices. Heart failure unit , post ACS , cardiac rehabilitation service are also available
Diagnosis and management of acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, and hypertension.
•Performance and interpretation of cardiovascular investigations including ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, and Holter monitoring.
•Management of patients in Coronary Care Unit (CCU) and emergency cardiac settings.
•Participation in diagnostic cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures including primary PCI , cardiac Pacing and pericardiocentecis.
•Implementation of guideline-directed medical therapy and cardiovascular risk prevention strategies.
•Multidisciplinary collaboration with cardiac surgery, intensive care, and emergency teams.
•Supervision and teaching of junior doctors and medical trainees.
Conducted comprehensive echocardiographic assessments across various modalities including TTE, TOE, Strain , Stress Echo, ensuring high-quality patient care in a demanding cardiology department.
Including higher training in clinical cardiology, non-invasive procedures in a high-volume cardiology department
