  • Early 2010 , i was seconded by TID ( the investment Dar Co -current employer ) to work at its subsidiary PIMG ( premier International Motors group Co) , the dealer representative of the global automotive brand Aston martin ( the dealer ) . For the period from 01/01/2010 i was holding the title of the director of finance , responsible for the financial health and stability of the company . I played a pivotal role in financial planning , budgeting and forecasting and ensuring the financial resources were allocated optimally and built a strong relationships with stake holders ,ie banks , financial institutions auditors , suppliers etc.. my expertise with financial analysis and risk management helped me streamlining processes and maximise profitability .


In brief i was responsible for the followings activities :


  • Financial planning and analysis , which includes creating budgets , forecasting financial performance , analyzing data to provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision making .
  • Financial reporting , dealing with Audits , including preparing timely financial statements according to IFRS and accounting standards.
  • Risk management strategies : making sure that proper insurance coverages are in place . as well as reducing market and price risk for our goods by applying a proper ordering and hedging strategy as well discussing , negotiating and obtaining the best purchase deals with the factory .
  • Treasury management , managing liquidity and the business cash flow , optimizing working capital to meet short to medium terms dues . maintaining good banking relation and making strategic decisions of capital allocation .
  • Financial strategy and decision support by providing financial insights and support key business decisions .
  • Compliance and support which includes working closely with financial Auditors and maintain transparent and financial reporting and governance .
  • Team leadership and development through continuous training of the sales and after sales , CRM and support team either regionally or at the factory premises in order to maintain the highest classification grade from the factory .


During those 5 years period , i recognized the need to sharpen my skill set and contribute to the overall success of the company , therefore , i embarked into a journey to gain experience in all aspects of the operations and administration. this decision allowed me to have a deep understanding of the company's operations , its strengths and areas to improve .
