KIMMCO ISOVER is a joint venture between Saint Gobain and Alghanim Industries since January 2018, has its manufacturing facilities in Kuwait, is managed by Board of Directors who executives from both the partners and is consolidated in SG accounts

Before JV, Kuwait Insulating Material Manufacturing Co., (KIMMCO) was formed in May 1977 and manufactures and markets Glass wool insulation products and held a license agreement with Saint Gobain

My responsibilities and duties varied time to time as and when a new executive came on board with new concepts of managing the business

Highlighting some of the recent key responsibilities here below:

  • Held the prime responsibility of supporting the Managing Director and providing support to the Management team and other functions as directed, so that day to day administration is run efficiently
  • Managed communication between top management and employees, liaising with internal and external executives & functions on various tasks and responsibilities
  • Planned, orchestrated with continuous follow up on top priority tasks to ensure its completion at the earliest possible with best practices being upheld
  • Coordinated complex scheduling and extensive calendar management, booking of meeting rooms as well as management of content and flow of required information to the management & team
  • Supported the operations team during the Furnace Rebuild Projects and other projects too in arranging visas, travel, hotel, transportation food and other logistics to the visiting SG engineers and Engineers from other equipment suppliers as well as bricklayers from Asian countries
  • Provided support to customers and suppliers visiting the company with visas, travel arrangements, hotel reservations and other logistics
  • Performed administrative and office support to the management and other functions too, such as self-correspondence and other office related filing and contact database
  • Maintained professionalism and strict confidentiality with all sensitive and confidential information, and exercised accurate discretion
  • Listed out concerns and suggestions from fellow colleagues and arranged town hall meetings between the management and people to address and discuss them
  • Responded to emails and other correspondence to facilitate communication and enhance business processes.
  • Transcribed phone messages and relayed to appropriate personnel as well as messages on general company ID were distributed to the concerned with continuous follow up if related to sales.
  • Interacted with vendors, contractors, and professional services personnel to receive orders, direct activities and communicate instructions.
  • Handled scheduling for executive's calendar and prepared meeting room, agenda, and materials.
