OBJECTIVE: To obtain a position putting to use all of the skills and knowledge I have gained through over 10 years' experience as a teacher and through a Master's in Education (concentration: Second Language Education). I also have an undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature. Both of my degrees were obtained from two of Canada's best universities. Experience in teaching adults at Kuwait University . TEFL certified.

• Oral & written communication skills: both of which have been refined through years of working with ESL students of various ages and levels and through numerous research papers and presentations at University of Ottawa Master in Education program & Carleton University English Language and Literature program;
• Analytical skills that reflect ability to interpret information and relay it in a concise, easy to understand manner: helping students start reading stories & articles with new words and concepts by creating games and exercises; creating lessons suitable for obtaining best results from students with different abilities (differentiated and student-centered learning in the classroom)
• Leadership skills: Grade 3 Team Leader at KBS, chair of 2 committees; was part of various committees at Ajial Bilingual School (International Day, Library Censorship, Teacher Mentoring, PEAK Conference, etc.)
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision: for example having sole responsibility for ESL classes during first years as a teacher with minimal supervision and assistance
• Ability to gain the trust of students and inspire them through providing support and opening the lines of communication
• Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills honed through numerous computer courses and years of work and schooling
• Excellent Teaching Evaluations by various Supervisors
