Senior Research Assistant with successful background networking and leveraging customer service to retrieve crucial data. Prioritized projects and objectives to efficiently accomplish goals and produce exceptional results. Detail-oriented team player with strong organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.
At Kuwait University, I held the role of Senior Research Assistant, where my responsibilities included being the primary operator of the Shimadzu UV/Vis Spectrophotometer and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). I used AFM for imaging and electrical characterization of samples in various modes such as contact mode, tapping mode (AC), and scanning microwave (SMM) modes.
Additionally, I played a key role in the Kuwait University and KFAS Collaboration Project with IMEC Belgium. This involved treating samples and conducting optical analysis on a-Si thin films using Ellipsometry. I was also part of the initial stages of a new Perovskite solar cell project.
My role extended to assisting senior researchers and other faculty members at Kuwait University in their research endeavors. I also took charge of clerical duties at the KUSRF lab, which included tasks like preparing annual reports, managing purchase orders, maintaining inventory for lab and cleanroom supplies, as well as chemicals. I kept records updated for equipment maintenance and servicing to ensure the smooth progress of research activities within the lab.
Furthermore, I gained substantial experience working in a Class 1000 cleanroom facility. This involved hands-on experience with semiconductor fabrication processes like oxidation, diffusion, photolithography, as well as wet and dry etching.
