JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participates safety observation program on monthly basis.
- Repair, overhaul & trouble shooting of all rotating equipment
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly preventive maintenance reports.
- Toll box talk conducting in normal routine job, PM job and critical jobs
- Can do installation & alignment of all rotating equipment
- Work towards extra ordinary safety, Positive attitude and team spirit.
EQUIPMENTS HANDLED
- CENTRIFUGAL PUMP
- MAKE: KSB (Germany), JOHNSON (Propeller pump-USA), BUNGARTZ pumps, Micro finish, Sulzer, and Ebara (SINGLE STAGE & MUTI STAGE & SPLITCASTING).
- Carried out six monthly PM such as
- Pump bearing housing oil draining, flushing & refilling.
- Base bolt checking and after run test pump, motor bearing temperature checking.
- Carried out of major overhauling such as Shaft, shaft sleeve, wearing, impeller, seal lip seals, bearing dismantling, inspection & assembled as per drawing.
- Shaft trueness checking & mechanical seal assembling, Thrust bearing fixing, rotor centering and seal fixing
- Coupling alignment checking and correction maintenance
RECIPROCATING PUMP
- Make: Pulsafeeder Multi flow dosing pump
- Carried out preventive and corrective maintenance like
- Gearbox oil draining, flushing & refilling. Plunger packing checking & Re placing
- Suction & discharge valve cleaning and fixing
- Alignment checking and correction
STEAM TURBINE
- Make: Elliot, Coppus Murray, Dresser rand, KKK
- Routine maintenance and Preventive maintenance
- Turbine bearing (active loaded thrust bearing, inactive loaded thrust bearing & journal bearing) clearance checking and replacing as per manual
- Carbon packing and labyrinth changing work, Lubrication system and filter changing work
- Warm up, Starting and Shutdown activities coordination with operation team
CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSOR
- Make: Hanwha Techwin, Dresser Rand, Elliott
- Dry seal and labyrinth changing work
- Dismantling the parts, checking the clearance as per manual, Cleaning job and spares changing work
- Assembling the rotor and diaphragm coordination with Vendor
RECIPROCATING COMPRESSOR
- Make: Dresser Rand
- Worked in Vertical, Horizontal, V-Type, Single and Multi stage air Compressor, Carried out complete overhauling and Preventive Maintenance such as
- Oil draining, flushing and refilling
- Bearing clearance checking and changing as per manual.
- Installing the piston, cylinder liner, piston rings, rider rings, air packing & wiper ring.
- Axial floats checking, correction and centering the crankshaft web deflection and bumping clearance.
- Gap adjustment in crank and dead end, Repair and re install suction, discharge valves.
ALIGNMENT
Rim & face method, Laser, Reverse dial and straight edge method.
MECHANICAL SEALS
- Make: JOHN CRANE, DURAMETALIC, BURGMAN, EAGLE, LEAK PROOF, and FLOWSERVE
- Removing and troubleshooting of mechanical seals. Installation of various type of seals like single coil spring pusher type, multi coil spring pusher type and tandem seal.
BLOWERS (ID FAN, FD FAN)
- Bearing housing lube oil replacing
- Bearing condition checking and replacing job
- Adapter sleeve tightness checking and re install
- Alignment checking (coupling drive and belt drive) and correction work
GEARBOXES
- Make: ELECON, LUKFIN, and GREAVES
- Complete overhauling such as gears and bearing replacement lip seal changing, checking backslash and refilling the oil
FIN FAN COOLER
- Fin fan cooler plug removing and fixing work, Bearings changing work
- Fan alignment, and belt changing work, Fins
- Tubes inspection work and cleaning also done
COLUMN
- Pre Distillation, Main Distillation Column tray removing and fixing work.
- Manhole removing and fixing work, Confined space time blinding & de blinding, column related jobs
VALVES
Servicing Hydro-testing and changing of various types of valves. Such as gate valve, globe valve, ball valve, plug valve, needle valve, butterfly valve, safety relief valve, pressure relief valves.
HEAT EXCHANGER
Commissioning and erecting of Heat exchangers, find the tube leaks by hydro test, tube plugging, Side dish removal and gasket changing.
