• Pricing Analysis: Conduct a thorough analysis of market trends, utilize data analysis tools, and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth through pricing optimization.
• Rate Negotiation: Negotiate competitive rates with carriers, shipping lines, and other service providers to secure favorable terms, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure preferential pricing and service levels by staying informed about changes in tariffs, regulations, and market conditions that may impact pricing negotiations. Routed, rated, and quoted international air/sea import/export shipments.
• Worked successfully with a diverse group of co‑workers to accomplish goals and address issues related to our products and services
• Prepare and manage competitive freight quotations for air, sea, and land shipments
• Coordinate end-to-end shipment operations, including booking, documentation, and execution
• Track and follow up on shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve delays or issues
• Communicate with customers on pricing, shipment status, and service updates
• Maintain and update rate sheets, tariffs, and internal pricing databases
• Ensure accuracy of shipping documents (BL, AWB, invoices, packing lists)
• Handle customer inquiries, negotiate rates, and support sales teams with pricing solutions
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company procedures
