(Project Details: Water Management at Gathering Centers, Lower Fars Heavy Oil Development & Excavation and transportation of Heavily Oil Contaminated Soil to Landfill in South – East Kuwait Area and Site Preparation Works for the Remediation Technologies Demonstration Project & Open Cycle Gas Turbine & Combine Cycle Gas Turbine).

• Implement and ensure compliance with the Safety and Health Management System
• Participate in audits, inspections, and safety observation tours. Identifying and eliminating HSE / Safety issues.
• Compile activity reports as and when required.
• Provide professional advice to all levels of management and employees.
• Ensure that the relevant records are kept and filed for all checks and inspections conducted.
• Preparation of JSA, daily safety reports, accident investigation reports etc. Monitor and modify safety techniques to achieve zero accident goals etc.
• Proactively visit sites and implement safety measures-promote / ensures safe work practices.
• Promote and help co-ordinate activities related to the rehabilitation of workers to affect a harmonious early return to work within a specifically structured program in accordance with the company’s rehabilitation program.
• Maintain a HSSE audit and assessment program for the location.
• Monitor compliance with all relevant site and workplace legislative requirements including passage of information to managers and employees regarding amendments / additions to requirements as they come into effect.
• Disseminate safety information throughout the workplace via bulletin boards, posters, newsletters etc.
• Assist line management and or construction supervisors in accident investigation process and report accordingly.
• Ensure HSE safety induction materials are developed and in place and are supported by an appropriate system of implementation for new starters and all employees with relation to recent changes and or additions.
• Assist in the overall development and implementation of safety initiatives to continually improve, achieve, and maintain stated safety performance and objectives.
• Implement systems and develop people to be able to identify & manage hazards & potential incidents.
• Assist construction or alliance management personal in identifying hazards and in planning and organizing the job such that a safe working environment is maintained.
• Work with alliance partners to ensure project and alliance procedures and policies are fit for purpose and minimize duplication.
• Make recommendations, promote training, offer advice, and liaise with personnel on a continuing basis regarding health, safety, and the environment.
• Monitor the road safety requirements in accordance with Kuwait Oil Company & Petrofac Road safety Transport Operations Safety Standard.
• Work Jointly with operations road safety focal persons in implementing controls for operations area vehicle entry requirements in accordance with Kuwait Oil Company / Petrofac guidelines.
• Carryout periodical road safety audits, vehicle inspections and IVMS RAG action implementation verification across all operational sites in compliance with KOC & Petrofac IVMS implementation and vehicle inspection guidelines.
• Advise sites on best practices in HSE training to enhance effectiveness of Defensive Driving training KPIs.
• Develop monitor and report HSE road safety KPIs for each site to evaluate the driving culture and implement intervention actions.

Sector: Oil & Gas (Crude Pipe & Gas Line)

(Project Details; Construction of Flow lines & Associated Works in SEK Areas, Remote Header Manifold with Multi Phase Meter, Pipeline & Pigging Facility for Wara Producer Wells & Improvement to Crude Sampling Point at Gathering Centers in all South & East Kuwait Areas).

• Safety Induction course to every new arrival on site. Weekly training to personnel about donning and doffing of BA sets, Properties, and characters of H2S& CH4 Gases.
• Familiarize of all construction activities for Crude & Gas Pipelines, Which Could Produce an H2S, CH4 Release.
• Check H2S, CH4 detection System for Proper Operation and Perform Calibration Checks and Calibrations were Conducted according to Kuwait Oil Company Log.
• FIRE Fighting Training to all employers and workers
• Follow up the oil gathering centers and Pipelines ensuring that they exercise their responsibility for operation and maintenance of the oil well facility.
• Participation in Risk Assessment & Review the Drilling Oriented activities (JHA/ JSA, HAZOP,).
• Conduct various drills such as H2S drill, Fire drills, Spill response drill etc.,
• Advised management on all aspects of HSE policy, planning, and leadership to execute company strategy and ensure HSE regulatory compliance; identified and implemented appropriate procedures and training programs related to HSE.
• Fulfilled with safety (OSHA Standard) law, norms & Standard Procedures to evaluate the risk factors to reduce/ eliminate the impacts in Activity and develop various control techniques.
