• Duties and Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance on Oil industry & Safety Directorate (OISD), Director General of minessafety ( DGMS)
• Monitor and implement controls measures during Drilling Operations
• Conducted Various ERT/Non ERT Mock Drill on Well site as per procedure
• Conducts HAZID / HAZOPS to ensure that risk controls are effective as Low as Reasonably
• Ensure that activities are carried out with strict compliance to company site safety standards
• To stop job if an unsafe situation exist
• Ensure that high level of HSE performance is achieved in an immature HSE culture where some contractor/subcontractors are involved
• Leading a team of contractor / subcontractor for incident investigation, overlook and advised the team for investigation procedure and techniques

HSE related inspections - Periodically inspections are conducting and using Standard Formats-

· Facility, Camp and Job sites along smoke detectors & fire alarms.

· Fire extinguishers, eye wash & body shower.

· Vehicles Inspection - Conducting Inspections of all Light & Heavy Vehicles & equipments.

· MPI & LT inspection – Cross checking of all Lifting gears and Pad Eyes.

· Electrical Inspection – Conducting electrical inspection with electrical Engineer i.e. Power Cables, Electrical Boards, ELCB, MCB, Earthing, rain protection and guarding, Cable laying arrangement at height & in Scaffolding etc.

· GPS system installation in all vehicles & inspecting violation done by drivers i.e. Over Speeding, Harsh Breaking, short cut use of different Locations and downloading all violations report and taking action against faulty drivers.

· Carried out inspection of employee’s behavior i.e. Safe & Unsafe Act & Conditions.

· Carried out inspection of Gas cylinders i.e. leak Test, Storage, Handling &Test Certificates.

Risk Assessments: Making HIRA & JSA for identification of risk & Hazards of all activities at sites and base & making its aspect & impact documents including time to time review.

Training: - Conducting HSE awareness training to own and contract employees.

Accident Investigation: Investigating and reporting of all accidents & Incidents including near miss and first aid cases to suggest management remedial measures to avoid recurrence.

HSE Motivational Activities: To organize HSE competitions, HSE quiz, HSE week celebrations, National Safety Day celebration and Safety games etc.

HSE Statistics: To calculate and maintain safety statistics like Injury Frequency Rate, Severity Rate, training strength records and Longest Accident Free Period etc.
