Experience
After Graduation I have consistently been seeking self- improvement and advance my professional career to the next level. During my internship in Kuwait I have took the opportunity of my elective periods in general surgery.
One of the elective was in Jaber Al Ahmed Hospital under Prof. assist Dr Mohsen Alhashemi supervision, where I gained experience working with the one of the leading specialists in Hepato-billiary surgery in one of the most advanced hospitals in the country.
The other elective was under General surgery in Al-Adan Hospital, I was able to enhance and polish my surgical skills under high flow working environment. I focused most of my time in this elective working in the one day minor surgery room , where I was able to independently apply my surgical skill knowledge into practice with examining and performing basic surgical skills including : primary wound closure, incision and drainage of abscess, removal of ingrown toe nail, and first line burn management.
- I worked in the Trauma unit for 1 month under the supervision of Trauma surgery specialist Dr Saud Alzaid. I learned and experienced the rapid , high pressure work of critical cases, working with multidisciplinary team, importance of collaboration and active communication to insure efficient workflow
- I am currently working in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital as a SHO with the one of the most established specialists in general surgery in Kuwait.
