Operations Coordinator

  • Functional Responsibilities:.
  • To manage mission support operations throughout the ARCENT Kuwait AOR.
  • To facilitate transit of up to 150 to 200 employees per month to and from Afghanistan, United states and other locations throughout the ARCENT AOR and provide direct supervision of all staff and linguists.
  • To conduct quality control of all Mission Essential-USG relationships in Kuwait and communicate extensively with PMO to provide daily updates of operational initiatives.
  • To Interface directly with contract ACOR’s, AMC and Gateway leadership and work closely with theater based operations personnel to predict, resolve or elevate critical issues that will affect any travel to and from the Afghanistan AOR.
  • To conduct compliance and Deltek training for all new hire Mission Essential personnel arriving in Kuwait form United States.
  • Focus on all personnel and operational readiness issues associated with deployed personnel as they travel through Kuwait.
  • To ensure permanent and temporary assigned personnel obtain required country, base and work credentials.
  • To ensure movement reports and proprietary database is updated on a daily basis.
  • To prepare and disseminate per-diem report on weekly basis and expense report on a monthly basis.
  • To maintain accountability of all government issued equipment.
  • To maintain accountability of all Mission Essential staff and linguists transiting through the Kuwait area of operations and coordinate with host nations sponsor on all immigrations, customs, housing, legal and sub-contractors.
  • Perform reception and departure briefings for all arriving and departing Mission Essential personnel transiting through Kuwait and coordinate their follow on travel to and from US and Afghanistan as per their assignments and employment status.
  • To coordinate with the local hospitals and clinics and facilitate medical treatments for the ones required.
