- Industry Experience: 10+ years
- During the employment visited several countries (Saudi, UAE, Malasia & Qatar) of Corelab branches to serve the company with my services.
- Visited various fields in Kuwait for Core catching & sample collection services.
- All the core handling jobs handled independently as per the client requirements.
- Below are the duties performed in Core Handling job.
- - Received the core, prepare the boxlist and run core gamma in order to make any depth shift.
- - CT-SCAN the core barrel using GE Machine.
- - Core opening from the core barrel, cleaning the core, fix the core orientation, mark with tram lines, labelled the boxes and keep the core in each box.
- - Core plugging 1.5" & 1" size of core plugs driling, trimming and mounting with nickel foil in order to maintaine the integrity of the plug samples
- - Core slabbing into 1/3rd & 2/3rd with the rotary blade & band saw machine performs as per the requirement.
- - Core photography of the slabbed core photo under white 7 UV Light performs.
- - Soxhlet cleaning of the plug samples with refluxing Toluene & Methanol in order to remove hydrocarbons and formations salt.
- - Plug samples drying using convection & humidity oven
- - Basic parameters measurements of the dried plugs starting with Grain volume measurements followed by porosity and permeability measurements. the measurements are performed on CoreLab built instruments.
- Enhanced customer satisfaction by responding promptly to service calls and resolving technical glitches swiftly.
- Tracked inventory of spare parts regularly, ensured optimal stock levels at all times.
- Promoted sustainability through efficient use of resources in daily tasks.
- Maintained a clean working environment, upheld compliance with health and safety regulations.
