Develop, Implement, Maintain and Review the Environment, Health and Safety Management System in line with ISO – 14001 and ISO – 45001 and various statutory, certification and other requirements including an annual EHS plan.

Create and implement methodology for the conduct of Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment, Implementation of Controls and the Aspect – Impact Study.

Review / approve planning, design and modification of processes, operations or building layouts in addition to any new materials in the process.

Preparation Monitoring and Review Training Plans and conduct of EHS Training Programs to personnel at various levels.

Preparation and conduct of Audits / Inspections in all areas of the organization and suggest remedial measures to bridge the gaps arising out of the audit findings.

Maintain the communication and consultation channel with all employees by designing and conducting various forums like EHS Committees, EHS Leadership teams etc. and performing an advisory role in all the necessary forums.

Ensure reporting of all Accidents / Incidents / Near Misses and lead the thorough investigation of all Accidents / Incidents / Near Misses and ensure all Corrective and Preventive Actions arising out of the investigations are implemented.

Analyze and report trends in Accident rates, sick leaves, scrap disposal for management review.

Create, Implement and Review Health and Hygiene Programs for all the employees.

Liaison with Statutory / Government Authorities on issues relating to Environment, Health and Safety.

Implement and Maintain the 5R/5S principles in the arena of Waste and ensure the gradual reduction of waste at all levels.

Ensures compliance with Integrated Management System (IMS), in line with EMS & OHSMS with emphasis on compliance and continuous improvements.

Ensures that all employees are updated for latest developments / changes / issues pertaining to provide Safe and Healthy workplace.

Accountable for the prevention of work-related injury and ill-health.

Maintaining a complete compilation of safety laws and regulations and for carrying out the provisions of the ACTC Safety and Health, Drug and Hazard Communication Policies, the OSHA standards and all other state and local safety requirements.

Determine all requirements needed in order to comply with the safety standards and regulations as required and ensure the implementation of the Country and the Client’s requirements and approved safety project program.

Assist and coordinates with the Project engineer and administer the project HSE plan.

Implement the requirements of Client and Company's HSE Program.

Determines the cause of any accident or dangerous occurrence and recommends means of preventing recurrence.

When unsafe practices/conditions or any safety violations are detected, advise or direct the supervisor to correct them.

Prepare, review and maintenance of needed record and statistical data as required by the client.

Potential hazard identification (HAZID).

Advise Management on potential hazards.

Carry out safety audits in association with project engineer to see only safe methods of working are in operation and that all regulations and standards applicable, are being observed.

Ensure that necessary emergency procedures are in place and updated as necessary.

Supervise the recording and analysis of information on injuries, damage and production loss, assess accident trends and review overall HSE performance of the Project.

Promote a positive HSE attitude amongst project employees using an authorized scheme of incentives and deterrents.

Ensure that accident investigations are conducted, when appropriate, in accordance with Company policies & procedures, under the direction of the Safety Department.

Maintain a safe and productive working environment by conducting appropriate safety, corrective action, job hazard, and inspections on a regular basis.

Continuously provide specialist advice & education on safety matters to all project personnel.

Ensure that every employee is informed and trained to perform their job in a productive and safe way in accordance with KN policies & procedures.

Monitoring the activities of company and subcontractor work operation.

Conduct the Safety Induction Course, Safety Training programs, Firefighting Training, Toolbox meeting checks of permits to work.

Demonstrates professional competence in the technical field of aviation safety and accident prevention.

Review all safety occurrence reports to identify trending and areas of concern, and then take appropriate action as required.

Safe conduct of all ground operations.

Responsible for completing actions outlined in the Emergency Operations Manual.
