Summary

To whom this may concern

Please accept my resume as a Elementary Educator and remedial facilitator.

I have a Bachelor of Education degree from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and graduated in 2009. Subsequently,

I have been doing contract work at various schools. Throughout my teaching experience I have gained extensive classroom knowledge and am exceptionally passionate about teaching, resources and providing all my students with an excellent education. I have worked on a contracted bases at a variety of schools as a teacher/substitute teacher/facilitator/ grade level team lead and am currently a Grade 1 teacher. I have a strong calling to educate young minds and help them blossom into well-rounded, responsible and successful individuals. I have had wonderful opportunities to teach a diverse group of students, including those with learning disabilities; those who perform at different grade levels, and those who are gifted/exceptional.

I have become proficient at designing creative and stimulating lesson plans which accommodate multiple intelligences, bring a hands-on approach to learning and keeping learners focused and interested.

My greatest strengths include inspiring and motivating students. In addition, I have learned to

tailor lesson plans to meet their diverse interests as well as demonstrate direct relations between the classroom and everyday life.

I look forward to discuss with you the many ways in which I can make a significant contribution to your educational program.

Sincerely,

Tasneem Gamieldien
