Responsibilities – Pre-Contract Stage

  • O Perform cost estimation for all civil, and associated works, ensuring accuracy in initial project costing.

  • O Assist in evaluating subcontractor offers and negotiate competitive terms.
  • 4. Rate Analysis:

Responsibilities – Post-Contract Stage

  • 1. Contract Administration:
  • O Oversee all aspects of contract management, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
  • O Respond to and clarify contractual issues raised by clients, subcontractors, or suppliers.
  • 2. Interim Payment Applications:
  • O Prepare and submit interim payment applications, including backup documentation and substantiating evidence of work completed.
  • O Review and certify subcontractor payments, ensuring they align with work progress and contractual terms.
  • 3. Variation Management:
  • O Identify, assess, and analyze variations to the original scope of works.
  • O Issue Notifications of Variations (NOV), prepare detailed valuation of variations, and manage the submission and approval of variation claims.
  • O Prepare and negotiate rates for variations, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
  • 4. Claims Management:
  • O Manage and prepare claims for extensions of time (EOT), disruptions, and other contractual claims, including preparation of detailed supporting documents.
