Project engineer (Construction) (Projects and Facility Engineering Department (Wafra JO)

Construction engineer activities during construction phase in projects (+200m USD/ +3 years):

• Verifying that Contractor personnel/ organization chart is per Chevron/KOC standards and equipped with experience/ skills to conduct the project in t safest and most sufficient way possible and subject to approval prior to commencing any related work.
• Approving contractor mobilizing activities/equipment and ensuring it is aligned with Chevron/KOC standards (Site offices/ fabrication yard/ storage area/ laydown area)
• Reviewing/ approving contractor Engineering Submittals (Drawing/data sheets/ calculations/P&IDs). In a timely manner.
• Participating in QA/QC activities as per ITP (inspection test plan) (to Witness/ to approval/ to be informed)
• Validating that (Method statement) is in place and tailored to each activity prior to starting specified work.
• Managing all drawings and documents at the site and ensuring that it reflects the approved ones from engineering submittals and is updated to the (latest Revision).
• Ensuring all labour and personnel participating in work and present at site went through (Chevron safety induction). And are equipped with the necessary PPE.
• Involvement in Project weekly/monthly progress meetings (Contractor/ Company management).
• Engaging all stakeholders and updating them on project's progress. Communicate with them to resolve project issues (permits, area release, power supply, manpower, consultations)

Projects No. 2: Environmental & Infrastructure Projects

• HOTTPAD (Sludge Treatment) projects.
• Border Security Facilities upgrade.
• 178 Tons K.O Vessel (Removal, shifting and installation) between 2 Sub-Centers more than 20 KM apart.

Projects No.3: Pipelines & Sub-Centers projects

• 600 mtrs 16" trunk lines (processed water to new well)
• 700 mtrs 8" trunk line (processed water to existing converted well)
• New K.O Vessel foundation & Civil work in POD Sub-Center.

Projects control engineer (P&FED) (Mina Al-Zour)

Applying PMS on phases (3,4,5) of projects (+150m USD/+ 4 years).

• Reviewing & approving (Baseline schedules/ S-Curves/Histograms).
• Monitoring approved PMS & validating project progress.
• Developing weekly/monthly projects progress reports including (updated schedules/ updated S-curves and Histograms)
• Generating Comparison reports between baseline PMS VS Actually updated schedule and other project monitoring systems.
• Recommending solutions/corrective actions to avoid projects (slippage/delay/overhead costs)
• Ensuring Projects Execution Plans are in place, sufficient and communicated through the whole project team and stakeholders.

Projects No. 2

• Firefighting system upgrade (tank farm/ oil export) areas.
• 20-inch crude oil pipeline from Main Gathering Center to shipping tanks (50 KM)
