- Started off as a school program with 13 members, we researched a local waste problem which was the disposal of Used Cooking Oil. We worked night and day to provide a sustainable, long term solution.
- We recycled used cooking oil in consumable household products such as Candles and Soaps.
- After a year of running, The Startup was quite a success generating 11% for our investors and we were offered a £ 7000 GBP Grant which we had to decline due to the relocation of my classmates to study at university.
- Stayed current with market trends to determine optimal pricing of goods and services and to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Oversaw daily operations, including Production, Finance and Sales.
- Reviewed individual department performance and worked with leadership to improve processes, procedures and practices.
