Eye tracking based mouse cursor, Worked in a team of two using Python libraries including OpenCV, Mediapipe, DLIB, Pynput and PyAutoGUI in addition to convex hull algorithm to create a real time program that allows the user to freely control the computer cursor with their eyes. Open a real time video capture using OpenCV then invert it and count the mapped width and height using the cam and screen resolution width and height. Locate the left & right iris using the 3d landmarks X & Y values in mediapipe’s algorithm face-mesh and draw a circle around them by using minEnclosingCircle from OpenCV. By using PyAutoGUI function “MoveTo()” and giving it the X & Y coordinates of the iris Center and pass it to a set of if statements we can move the cursor to the desired location. We detect the eye coordinates and thresholds from the DLIB library, and we contour the eyes by using the convex hull algorithm from OpenCV. We initialize a wink counter and wink final value and calculate the left & right eye aspect ratio so we can begin the eye-closing detection process. Compare if left eye aspect ratio is smaller than right eye aspect ratio then we detected that the user is trying to close his left eye. Then we compare if left eye aspect ratio is less than the eye Thresh value then the left eye is completely closed = Left Click. To apply clicking we used a library Pynput function “mouseController.click()” and we repeat the process for the right eye. Linear Regression from scratch in python without Scikit-Learn library, Creating linear regression using only Pandas, Numpy and matplotlib.pyplot libraries. Loaded the dataset from an excel file into two arrays x and y using Pandas. Calculated the mean of X and Y using Numpy pre-defined function ‘’mean()’’ and Calculate the slope (m) and y-intercept (b) of the line of best fit using the mathematical equations. Scatter the x and y data and Plot the data points and the line of best fit using matplotlib.pyplot.
